- conduct comprehensive studies of the geological structure of major diamond and other mineral deposits;
- conduct experimental and methodological studies to improve the existing and develop new methods of diamond prospecting and exploration;
- implement scientific developments into the geological exploration practice of the Company.
Providing geological units of the company with information on the material composition of kimberlites and other igneous formations, data on the characteristics of diamonds from deposits located in various territories, NIGP provides substantial support for ALROSA expeditions in their exploration operations.
